The FPT University Deep Research Group in Applied Sciences (FDRG), based at FPT University – Can Tho Campus, is a multidisciplinary research team dedicated to advancing scientific innovation, technology development, and knowledge transfer.

FDRG plays a central role in connecting lecturers, researchers, postgraduate students, and industry partners to create a sustainable and pioneering research community. The group focuses on solving real-world problems in the Mekong Delta region through applied research in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Smart Systems, Robotics, Environmental Management, and Digital Transformation.
